Google Chrome 6

Google has just released the latest Google Chrome 6.0 to the public. This new release is suppose to be more stable, faster and more streamlined.

There are minor changes to the user interface which makes the browser looks simpler to use. Some buttons have been shifted around and a green lock shows up in the URL bar when you access to a secure https site. I also find that the speed of loading a webpage  have improve and faster, not dramatic but certainly it looks more stable than the previous version.

Apparently there’s no auto-update functionality like Firefox or IE,  so you have to visit the download page and install it as new. The installation was really quick and took me only 10 seconds to get it updated and running again.

If you  have been following my articles and blogpost, you know I’ve been recommending all my readers to use Google Chrome because of it’s simplicity and fast to load webpages.  In fact, I’ve yet to see any browser that is fast as Google chrome.
